Where We've Been
 

You may recognize Pidgin Overdrive shirts from craft fairs around Oahu, or on display next to Primo Popcorn treats. If either of these elicit fond memories you have one person to thank: Patrick Sato. Patrick is the mastermind behind both Pidgin Overdrive and Primo Popcorn, bringing your favorite Pidgin sayings to life while also creating explosive-flavored popcorn and frozen treats. Recently Primo Popcorn closed its doors as Patrick retired and we were fortunate to be able to take the reins for Pidgin Overdrive. Mahalo and congrats on a well-earned retirement Patrick!

Where We Are

Like many businesses in Hawaii, the Covid-19 pandemic affected our ability to hit the ground running as we maneuvered through the new normal that our community is facing. If you miss seeing us at craft fairs don't worry! We are working hard to get back out there and seeing you all soon. We are excited to be taking over this locally-owned small business and hope to continue to share aloha one shirt at a time.

Where We're Going

​

One of our strongest tenets is giving back to the community. We feel it is our kuleana to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the community and for future generations in Hawaii. We look forward to collaborating with others in the community on projects and events. 

 

On the business side we are currently working on expanding the selection of shirts on our site to match our full collection. We have over 40 different designs in a wide variety of colors! There are other exciting projects in the work as well, so be on the lookout for all things Pidgin Overdrive!
